2016 Ried Vogelsang Welschriesling trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Vegetal, herbaceous and light yeasty notes on the nose, lemon and pomaceous fruit, hint of melon, light nutty traces. Firm, juicy, dry fruit on the palate, more nutty aromas, prominent spicy vegetal and herbaceous notes, lively acidity, good substance and persistence, delicate nutty, smoky, spicy oak, light grip, some depth, some sharp olive oil and melon in the background, still young, salty and chalky cold mineral notes, clear contours, very good minerally, herbaceous, firm, juicy finish. Classy wine, but needs time to mature.
