2012 Sauvignon Blanc halbtrocken Selection, Burgenland, Austria

Nutty nose, light spicy oak, slightly sweetish with some slightly exotic yellow fruit, hint of elderberry, herbs, touch of tobacco, mineral notes. Ripe, sweetish, juicy, concentrated fruit on the palate, partly preserved and dried, nutty nots, some spicy oak and vanilla, smoky and toasted notes, very ripe acidity, integrated tannins, concentrated, full-bodied and persistent, noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool minty, vegetal and mineral notes in the background, some depth, large-caliber style, but well-balanced, very good long, warm, creamy finish with light spicy oak.
