2014 Barolo DOCG "Conteisa®", Piedmont, Italy

Firm, quite deep, still reductive scent of red and black berries with earthy, dried vegetal, mushroom, floral and mineral notes, pepper, liquorice, noticeable tar and cedar wood notes. Firm, fresh, juicy, tart fruit with slightly smoky notes, some bitter chocolate and tobacco, herbal tones on the palate, a little tar, lots of salt, a hint of citrus fruit in the background, hinted capers, good depth, still undeveloped, salty in the background, very good, firm, tangy-juicy aftertaste.
