IGT area (land wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Tuscany. It covers 90 hectares of vineyards in defined areas of the provinces of Arezzo, Firenze, Pistoia, Prato and Siena. Grape varieties permitted in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. Dual varietal wines are made from at least 50 to 85% of the main grape variety, and a maximum of 15 to 50% of other varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed for each wine type, but no maturation period.
