2018 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Clear, quite firm, a touch floral aroma of ripe red and also black berries with nutty aromas, a little tobacco, cigar ash, dried herbs and dried meat. Firmly woven, tangy, quite noble fruit, present, fine, youthful tannin, some acid bite, peppery and ethereal-herbal nuances on the palate, persistent, good depth, salt in the background, a little cocoa and coffee, multilayered, still undeveloped but already impressive, has tension and finesse, very good, tight finish with coffee notes and ethereal, also slightly resinous spice.
