2000 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Prominent spicy oak on the nose, berry preserves and plums. Slightly pale fruit, dominated by spicy oak, fairly superficial style, astringent tannins, lacks definition and depth, prominent oak on an attractive finish.
