2021 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett VDP.Grosse Lage, "Rotlack", Rheingau, Germany

Relatively cool, somewhat planty and a touch floral, still a touch reductive nose with restrained white and yellow fruity notes, a hint of mushrooms and herbaceous traces. Bright, lean, fine-juicy fruit, moderate sweetness and quite lively, fine acidity, some grip, yeasty and herbal notes, some persistence, mineral hints, a touch of red berries, good to very good finish with grip and pull.
