2021 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Auslese VDP.Grosse Lage, "Rosalack", Rheingau, Germany

Relatively bright, somewhat vegetal to dried herbal and hints of mushroomy pome and stone fruit scents with delicate floral and slightly chalky hints. Clear, juicy, sweet fruit with a slight acid bite, delicate tannin grip, good persistence, some depth, hints of lemon verbena and blackberries, light minerality, very good finish with bite.
