Firm, quite deep, tangy aroma with herbal and yellow fruity aromas, a hint of bacon and quite distinct minerality. Ripe, juicy and again very spicy, tightly knit fruit with smoky to bacony and nutty-woody aromas, cinnamon on the palate, a hint of caramel, fine, relatively lively acidity and lots of grip from crumbly tannin, clear minerality, restrained power, very good, firm, grippy and spicy finish. Incredible quality for a wine in this price range.

Best to drink: Bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
