2021 Fellbach Lämmler Lemberger trocken "Edition P", Württemberg, Germany

Clear scent of ripe predominantly black berries with a hint of cherries, moderate, slightly nutty barrel tones, long pepper, suggested grilled vegetables, and a little leather. Firmly structured, ripe, herb-juicy fruit with a slightly smoky and again nutty wood spice, a bit of cocoa on the palate, crumbly-sandy, still slightly drying tannins, some bite, medium strength, good sustainability, tobacco nuances, salty hints in the background, a touch of dried herbs, especially sage, good to very good, quite firm, still slightly wood-bitter finish.
