Somewhat toasty, nutty, spicy and vegetal to herbal aroma of partly preserved black berries with a little cherry and a hint of cocoa. Ripe, tightly knit fruit with a hint of star anise, nutty wood tones in the background, a little bitterish roast, fine sandy tannin, hints of paprika, wax and cocoa, good persistence, salty notes, hints of green tobacco in the very good finish.

Editor note: Firm, clear aroma of ripe dark berries and partly preserved cherries with tart nutty and slightly smoky toasty wood aromas, fleshy traces and a hint of liquorice. Ripe, tightly knit, dark, partly preserved fruit, toasty and bitter-chocolatey wood spice, a little coffee, good persistence and substance, quite powerful, a touch ethereal in the background, almost a little sweet melting, warming alcohol, very good finish with dark juice and toasty wood spice.
