2018 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Höllriegl Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Am alten Pfarrweingarten", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm nose, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, restrained yellow and green fruit aromas, mineral notes, elderflowers and peppery traces. Clear, tart, ripe fruit on the palate, moderate acidity, spicy dried vegetal notes, peppery traces, integrated, ripe tannins provide some grip, persistent, good depth, touch of elderberries, very good, tart, tranquil finish.
