2017 Süd-Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Heaven's Door", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Nutty, vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes on the nose, yellow and white fruit aromas, light oak, hint of bacon and mushrooms, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, creamy, tart fruit on the palate, more light oak, light nutty notes and smoky traces, earthy and mineral notes, yeasty notes, hint of mushrooms, light dried floral notes, buttery traces, juniper and elderberries in the background, quite full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, good depth, firm structure, some grip and more prominent mineral notes on a very good, tart, juicy, spicy finish.
