Slightly dull yellow. Deep and complex, still rather wild nose of citrus fruits, currant leaves, herbs, asparagus, dried green pepper and a little bit of root vegetables with delicately yeasty, somewhat iodine and clearly earthy-mineral notes. Ripe, tangy-juicy, very firm fruit, deep and multi-layered, very fine, lively acidity and plenty of tannin grip, earthy and salty minerality, herbs, vegetable aromas and slightly spicy tones, still very young and compact, has, despite all its power, enormous tension, warm and cool elements, floral nuances, a hint of tobacco, long, complex, tight finish with juice and spice. Must necessarily mature; will probably go broad in a few years, only to tighten up again after several years.
Best to drink: Jetzt für 2, 3 Jahre, wenn es unbedingt sein muss, dann wohl am besten erst wieder nach Mitte des kommenden Jahrzehnts. What our ratings mean
