2015 Süd-Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc trocken Don't Cry, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very firm, clearly green-vegetable to herbal, reminiscent of currant leaves, asparagus-like and very delicately iodine-like aroma with yellow and green fruity aromas, dried floral nuances, elderflower and clear minerality. Surprisingly taut, very juicy fruit for the high alcohol, with herbaceous, planty and floral spiciness, clear, saline minerality and lively acidity, lots of grip of ripe tannin on the palate, light wood notes, noticeable but integrated alcohol, persistent, dense and deep, still barely developed, cooling elements, very good to long, taut, juicy finish with planty spiciness
