2013 Süd-Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc trocken Don't Cry, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very firm, complex, finely vegetal, somewhat herbaceous scent with yellow and green fruity notes, capers, slightly nutty and vanilla wood aromas as well as clear minerality. Very firm in the mouth, concentrated, tart fruit with smoky woody aromas, firm, fine acidity, some tannin, dense and persistent on the palate, earthy-mineral and salty tones, just seems rather closed and also a bit rustic, compact, some depth, a hint of tobacco, vegetal aromas, very good to long, tart finish. Must necessarily mature.
