2011 Süd-Steiermark Grauburgunder trocken Tosca, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Fairly closed, yet has a hint of oxidative, delicately spicy, distinctly nutty and light tobacco, with vegetal, woody and yellow fruit notes. Tart spicy oak on the palate, concentrated, although still restrained fruit, pomaceous fruit and melons, tart vegetal notes, nutty and tobacco notes, hints of caramel and eucalyptus, lively, elegant acidity, prominent earthy notes on the palate, fairly concentrated, almost astringent massively built, a lot of power and excellent sustainability, grip tannin, slightly warming alcohol in a very good to long, gripping finish. Must mature.
