2020 Vittoria DOC Nero d'Avola "Contesa dei Venti", Sicily, Italy

Slightly dried-floral and a hint of smoky scent of red and black berries with ethereal-spicy nuances. Very slightly toasty in the mouth, slightly darker fruit than in the nose, a little liquorice, herbs and salt, some persistence, fine sandy, youthful tannin, medicinal tones reminiscent of camphor, has bite, good to very good, tart finish. Needs to mature a little.
