2019 Etna DOC Bianco "Sul Vulcano", Sicily, Italy

Yeasty and somewhat dried-vegetal to herbal nose with restrained yellow fruity notes, a little fennel, sage and a hint of smoke. Tart fruit with dried-vegetable to herbal, smoky and almondy notes, fine acidity and delicate grip, floral nuances on the palate, some persistence, a hint of citrus zest, again also almonds, salt and chalk in the background, very good finish.
