2018 Etna DOC "Fragore - Contrada Montelaguardia", Sicily, Italy

Quite deep, delicately smoky aroma of ripe red and somewhat black berries with a little dried herbs, dried flowers and tobacco, black olives and a little dried tomatoes in the background. Fresh, tangy, polished, relatively bright fruit, again smoky and somewhat tobacco notes, a hint of coffee in the background, dried planty to herbal notes, almost a little oriental smoky spice, salty minerality, lasting, good depth, quite complex, has power but no heaviness, very good, tangy finish with grip and some acidity.
