2020 Pays d'Oc IGP "Julille", Languedoc, France

Slightly iodiney and fleshy-animalic scent of black and red berries, a hint of tobacco as well as earthy and cedary nuances. Clear, quite polished, tart-juicy fruit, fine, youthful tannin and a certain acid bite, dried-vegetable to herbal nuances, a little smoky in the background, good persistence, a hint of bitter chocolate and pepper, has life, good to very good, fresh-juicy finish with tart spice.
