2017 Côtes duTarn IGP "Chope le Coq", South-west France, France

Astringent, somewhat bacony-, dried vegetable and earthy scent of predominantly black berries and a little cherry with dried herbal and floral nuances. Clear, quite polished, juicy fruit with slightly chocolaty and smoky and roasted aromas, fine, youthful tannin, some bite, a lot of power and warming alcohol, peppery notes in the background, very good, juicy and spicy, also slightly ethereal finish with warming alcohol
