2021 Wachau DAC Ried Achleiten Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm and deep, slightly warm, rather tart, clearly planty to herbaceous scent with fine, restrained yellow-fruity aromas, a hint of smoke, much minerality and a hint of tobacco. Very tightly knit, tangy, ripe fruit, with all its power with tension and a certain coolness, fresh herbal-herbal and slightly floral to tobacco aromas, persistent, dense and deep, still undeveloped, intense, almost dominating minerality, green-peppery nuances, also a hint of dark berries, deep and complex, very good to long, juicy, grippy and again very mineral finish with herbal spice, small red berries and grip.
