Editor note: Firm, fairly deep nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, smoky traces, light yellow fruit and floral aromas. Tart fruit on the palate, light dried vegetal notes, earthyand floral notes, hint of tobacco, very elegant acidity, light grip, good persistence and substance, full body, light touch of almonds, noticeable high alcohol, that becomes more integrated with aeration, fairly intense mineral notes, very good, firm, alcoholic finish.
Best to drink: 2020-2025+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria.
