Editor note: Light floral, delicate vegetal and nutty notes on the nose, ripe yellow fruit, light herbaceous and mineral notes. Clear, firm, juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous notes, prominent tart mineral notes, elegant, fairly lively acidity, persistent, good depth, some grip, quite full-bodied, but also has cool elements, hint of tobacco, clear contours, very good, firm, juicy, very mineral finish. Classy wine.

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria.
