2012 Wachau Ried Singerriedel Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear and quite firm, distinctly vegetable nose with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, a bit of peach and apricot with a certain minerality, some fresh herbs and bright floral nuances. Herb-juicy fruit with warm and cool elements, again distinctly vegetable aromas, fine, quite lively acidity, some phenolics and still a hint of yeast flour, sustainable, a bit of beeswax, light plant spiciness, mineral notes, very good finish.

Klar, geradlinig und ganz trocken im Mund, geschliffene, zartsaftige Frucht mit vegetabilen und etwas kräuterigen Tönen, feine Säure, etwas Nachhaltigkeit und gewisser Schmelz, im Hintergrund salzig-mineralische Anklänge, sehr harmonisch, wenn auch nicht nicht ewig tief, noch ganz leicht rau und antrocknend, dann aber erstaunlich lang.
