Clear, polished, firm red and black berry nose with delicate peppery and herbal aromas, hints of smoke and bacon, herbal hints and juniper. Ripe, juicy, polished fruit, very fine, crumbly tannin, dried herbal and slightly peppery aromas, again also juniper, persistent on the palate, good substance and some power, salt in the background, delicately bacony hints, very good finish.
