Clear, polished, tart nose of black berries with slightly dried-herbal, cedary and tobacco nuances, dried Mediterranean herbs and a hint of nutshells. Ripe, firm, tart dark fruit, youthful but rather mellow tannin, clearly bitter chocolate on the palate, a hint of bacon and coffee grounds, dried-herbal nuances, salt in the background, warming alcohol, good persistence and some depth, very good, warm finish with ripe juice and tart spice.
