2016 Costa Toscana IGT Cabernet Franc, Tuscany, Italy

Firm and polished, almost cool, raw-fleshy aroma of ripe black berries and a hint of cherries with smoky nuances, hinted bacon and a hint of paprika. Herb-juicy, dark, again quite firmly worked fruit with slightly smoky and also a little bit chocolaty wood aromas, crumbly, yet youthful tannin, delicate bacon nuances on the palate, lasting, hinted cedar, restrained power, in the background some salt, also dried herbal and tobacco nuances, very good, tight, juicy and again a little bit bitter chocolate finish
