Aged, somewhat meaty-animalic and dried-vegetable aroma of ripe predominantly dark berries with bitter chocolate, toasty and tobacco aromas. Tart, dark, ripe fruit, lots of bitter chocolate and some soot, noticeable, somewhat sharp alcohol, fine sandy tannin, slightly bitterish walnut tones on the palate, good substance and persistence, a hint of dried herbs and pepper in the background, hints of juniper, good to very good, again somewhat alcoholic finish
