Editor note: Fairly deep nose, preserved red and black berries, hint of plums, herbaceous and mineral notes, some sweetish tobacco, sweetish, spicy new oak. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe fruit, slightly sweetish spicy oak, persistent, predominantly fine, mature tannins, has some depth, noticeable but integrated alcohol, delicate acid bite, mineral notes in the background, vegetal traces, some sugar candy, chocolate and caramel, very good finish. Quite a big wine, but also very well made.
