2003 Carnuntum trocken Anna - Christina, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Black berries and cherries on the nose, provencale herbs and some gingerbread spice, light malted notes and a hint of sauerkraut. Mature on the palate, strong roasted and more malted notes, overrripe fruit, chocolate, more herbaceous notes, light smoky notes and some smoked meat, very creamy and full-bodied, but lacks contours and cohesion overall, attractive finish.
