2016 Rüdesheim Drachenstein Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, fairly cool nose, light floral notes, predominantly red berries and vegetal aromas, light herbaceousand mineral traces. Firm, juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, nutty oak, light peppery notes, dried herbs, fairly firm tannins, has bite and grip, mineral notes in the background, prominent chalky and salty notes, still undeveloped, hint of tobacco, more peppery spice on a very good, firm, tart, juicy, mineral finish.
