2016 Johannisberg Hölle Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Predominantly red berries on the nose, fairly warm, light gloral notes, nutty, vegetal and herbaceous traces, some citrus fruit, earthy notes, shows increasing black berries with aeration. Ripe, creamy, warm fruit on the palate, partly preserved, light smoky, toasted, spicy oak, integrated tannins, salty and spicy notes, good substance and persistence, still very slightly astringent, some depth, very good, warm, spicy finish.
