2014 Pinot Noir trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Spicy oak on the nose, light dried floral notes, medicinal traces, red and a few black berries, lavender and violets. Straightforward fruit on the palate, prominent spicy oak, more noticeable violets and lavender, light acid bite, fairly prominent slightly sandy and astringent tannins, fairly persistent, noticeable high alcohol, slightly btirrle, earthy and mineral notes, tart finish.
