2013 Lorch Kapellenberg Pinot Noir trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Clear, firm aroma of ripe, predominantly dark berries with slightly nutty and dried planty to tobacco spice, hints of mushrooms and a hint of juniper. Firmly knitted, juicy, again relatively dark fruit, certain acidity and ripe, yet relatively present tannin, a little toasty wood, moderate, dark ethereal spice, has power, substance and a certain depth, also still a certain freshness, tart minerality, very good, tart-juicy, quite tight finish. Keeps well, but does not tolerate too much air.
