Firm and quite deep, cedary, clearly coffee-spicy as well as smoky and tobacco aroma of ripe black berries with a little Mediterranean herbs, pepper and juniper. Ripe, very juicy, dense, somewhat warm, yet relatively fresh fruit, youthful, crumbly tannin, coffee-roasted aromas and chocolate, lasting, in the background, some Mediterranean herbs, pepper, juniper and salt, lots of power, some depth, very good, juicy and still slightly bitter-smoky finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
