Editor note: Translate to English Eher herber, leicht tabakiger und kräuteriger Duft nach dunklen Beeren und Kirschen mit ganz leicht fleischigen und erdigen bis mineralischen Noten. Geradlinige Frucht im Mund, süß, aber auch mit herber, leicht nussiger und schokoladiger Holzwürze, pflanzliche bis kräuterige Nuancen im Hintergrund, ein wenig Tabak, mittelfeines, ganz leicht sprödes Tannin, gute Nachhaltigkeit, hat Kraft, noch jung, guter bis sehr guter, wieder neben der Süße auch etwas bitterlicher Abgang.

DO area in the Spanish region of Catalonia. The former Tarragona sub-area "Falset" was highly classified in 2001 under the new name Montsant. It encloses the Priorato DOCa area like a belt. These two areas are among the oldest and, already in the Middle Ages, one of the most important wine-growing regions in Catalonia. The vineyards cover more than 2,000 hectares of vines on the slopes of the Montsant massif at an altitude of 200 to 700 metres above sea level in 17 municipalities.
