Fairly mature nose, spicy oak, preserved black berries, touch of candied herbs. Full-bodied, ripe fruit on the palate, sweetish oak and a hint of chocolate, very fine tannins, good persistence, quite a polished style, very creamy, initially appears slightly too smooth, but develops acid bite with aeration, candied herbs in the background, some plummy notes, light mineral notes, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2016+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Preserved red berries, cherries and plums on the nose, vegetal and mineral notes, sweetish spicy oak. Concentrated and quite juicy on the palate, but also has prominent spicy oak, vegetal notes and some cool mineral notes in the background, very full-bodied, noticeable alcohol, lots of astringent, almost brittle oak tannins, initially restricts the oak, but becomes more integrated with aeration, medium depth, very good finish.

Editor note: Cherries and mixed berries on the nose, tart herbaceous notes, mineral notes and a hint of old oak. Juicy and very firm, quite cool fruit, very fine, fairly prominent tannins, persistent on the palate, mineral traces in the background, sweetish, spicy oak, modern style, firm structure, good depth and persistence, medium long finish.
