Light maturation notes on the nose, sweetish roasted oak, alphabet biscuits, lots of very ripe, partly dried fruit, plums and dark berries. Juicy in the mouth, loads of very ripe fruit, spicy oak and roasted notes, slightly rough tannins, full-bodied, noticeable alcohol, very creamy, elegant, quite prominent acidity, gives the wine additional structure, integrated roasted oak, good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2008+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Deep dark garnet. Lots of ripe, dark fruit on the palate, rounded and juicy, fine tannins, evenly distributed and with good presence, very powerful body, firm structure, high in alcohol, integrated toasted oak, very well balanced, persistent, very long finish.
