Rather tart, somewhat mushroomy, nutty and slightly vegetal to herbal nose of mixed berries with a hint of tobacco and leather. Polished, fine-juicy fruit with a certain acid bite, fine sandy tannin, good persistence, citrus zest and porcini mushrooms in the background, hints of barrel wood, a touch of cranberries, chalky and earthy tones, very good, only slightly drying finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2023 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
