2019 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Firm and quite deep aroma of ripe black berries with a little liquorice and tar, juniper nuances, hints of dried herbs, pepper, dried tomatoes and black olives. Very tightly knit, again dark fruit, smoky-roasty and somewhat fleshy tones, present, youthful tannin, has a lot of power but also bite, lasting, good depth, Mediterranean herbs and a little black olives in the background, has freshness, if at the same time also a trace of drying wood, peppery traces, very good, firm, tart-juicy finish with smoky and again a little tarry notes.
