2018 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Casi", Tuscany, Italy

Accessible, quite fresh, herbaceous-vegetable and delicately floral scent of red and black berries with dry herbal notes, floral traces, a little tobacco and hints of pepper. Tight, clear, almost cool, quite fresh fruit, nutty as well as somewhat cocoa- and coffee-spicy wood notes, certain acidity, present, quite fine tannin, persistent on the palate, pepper and juniper in the background, salty hints, very good, juicy and spicy finish, again with bite.
