2017 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Casi", Tuscany, Italy

Clear, firm, slightly herbal aroma of ripe more black than red berries with hints of cherry, a hint of leather, liquorice and earthy and peppery nuances. Ripe, tightly knit, rather juicy, youthful fruit, nutty and tobacco aromas, a hint of coffee and cocoa, herbal notes, a little liquorice, persistent, has power, some depth, still young, black olives in the background, a hint of tar and iodine, very good, firm, juicy, herbal and again somewhat peppery-spicy finish.
