2021 Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore "MOMPIRONE®", Piedmont, Italy

Slightly nutty and dried-vegetable to tobacco aroma of black and red berries with leathery-fleshy nuances and delicate vegetable hints. Ripe, quite juicy, a touch sweetish fruit with tart, slightly smoky wood notes, dried-vegetable to herbal and tobacco aromas and a hint of coffee, crumbly tannin, some bite, powerful and persistent on the palate, a little ethereal spice in the background, salty mineral tones, very good finish.
