2013 Colli Tortonesi DOC Barbera Superiore "Bruma d'Autunno", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat developed, dried-vegetable to tobacco and moderately woody aroma of partly dried red and black berries with a touch of malt and a lot of alcohol. Ripe, partly preserved mixed berries also in the mouth, plus plum tones, dried herbs and a hint of tobacco, peppery and juniper nuances in the background, earthy tones, a little salt, a lot of power and plenty of alcohol, some acid bite, moderate, fine sandy tannin, good persistence, very good, quite firm finish.
