2009 Colli Tortonesi DOC Barbera Superiore Bruma d'Autunno, Piedmont, Italy

Tart, dried vegetal to tobacco and earthy nose with dark fruit notes, some pepper and dried floral traces. Cool, tart, developed fruit, fine sandy, mature tannins, some ashes in the background, some tobacco notes, not particularly deep, tart finish.

Editor note: Somewhat developed, slightly spicy oak and nutty nose, dark fruit, aromas of dried root vegetables, earthy notes, some cedar, graphite and tar. Ripe, tart dark fruit on the palate, green vegetal and earthy notes, light acid bite, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, nutty traces, not particularly deep, a touch of salt, good finish.
