2008 Colli Tortonesi DOC Sette Zolle, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Preserved mixed berries and cherries on the nose, some nutty notes and chocolate, hint of cinnamon. Tart fruit on the palate, spicy nutty notes and chocolate, light herbaceous notes, fairly prominent acidity, delicate hint of carbon dioxide, firm, fine sandy tannins, fairly persistent and slightly creamy, oxidative traces, prominent acid bite on quite a good finish.
