2018 Barco Reale di Carmignano DOC, Tuscany, Italy

Clear, polished nose of red and black berries with very restrained, nutty wood notes as well as floral and spicy nuances. Ripe, slightly warm, quite juicy fruit, again nutty wood spice, a hint of tobacco, crumbly, youthful tannin, some persistence, a touch of pepper, good to very good finish
