2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Stoan, Alto Adige, Italy

Apples on the nose, grapefruit zests, elderberry flowers and rosewood, hint of muscat, herbaceous notes. Initially uncomplicated on the palate, then becomes more complex and concentrated with aeration, soft, compact, quite persistent fruit, more herbaceous notes, some bell peppers, light spice, partly preserved pomaceous fruit and melon, integrated elegant acidity, nicely composed, very clean, good finish. Has substance, gains with aeration.
